Audiology services are provided at both Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. Services are available to all ages including children from 10 months (corrected if premature).
Waiting times vary depending on demand, however, priority will be given to children under six years of age.
We provide hearing assessments, non-medical management of hearing loss and information on hearing-related issues. We are unable to provide hearing aids.
For Audiology appointments, please contact 02 4320 3121.
- Referrals from specialists, GPs or health professionals such as a Speech Pathologist, Child and Family Health Nurse or SWISH screener are welcome, however referrals are not mandatory.
- For paediatric patients: If you are concerned about your child’s hearing, please contact your GP or Child and Family Health Nurse in the first instance.
- Sudden hearing loss is a medical emergency – an urgent GP referral to an ear, nose and throat specialist or attending a hospital emergency department is recommended.
