Women’s Health clinics are offered by appointment and are staffed by female nurses providing the following services:
- Cervical Screening Tests (pap smears)
- Contraceptive advice
- Postnatal checks
- Menopause information
- Continence advice
The Women’s Health service is a free service open to all women in need of care and information. An interpreter service is available.
We encourage women in the following groups to attend our clinics:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
- Culturally and Linguistically Diverse
- Women with disabilities
- Health Care Card holders
- Women who are overdue or have never had a Cervical Screening Test (pap smear)
Women requiring contraceptive pill prescriptions or devices will be referred to their GP.
