Services we provide
Our female nurses provide:
- Cervical Screening Tests
- Contraceptive advice
- Pregnancy advice and pregnancy options information
- Postnatal checks
- Menopause and menstruation information
- Continence advice
- Information about breast screening and breast self-awareness
- Information about sexual assault services
- Information and support relating to domestic and family violence
Our clinics can provide contraceptive advice. If a prescription or contraceptive device is required, you will be referred to your GP or another appropriate healthcare provider.
Menopause support
Women’s Health Clinics can provide menopause information and support. For people experiencing severe or complex menopause symptoms that affect daily life and wellbeing, additional support is available through the Central Coast Menopause Service.

Who can access the service?
Women’s Health Clinics are open to all women seeking care, information and support.
We particularly encourage appointments from:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
- Women from culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Women with disability
- Health Care Card holders
- Women who are overdue for, or have never had, a Cervical Screening Test
After your appointment
A nurse will contact you with your results approximately two weeks after your appointment. If ongoing care or follow-up is required, you may be referred to your GP or an appropriate specialist doctor.
