Are you feeling constantly tired or low on energy?
If you live with a chronic health condition, this might sound very familiar. Fatigue can make even the simplest daily tasks feel overwhelming — and when it’s not managed well, it’s even harder to take care of yourself.
There are things you can do to manage fatigue and boost your energy levels. Try these three simple steps and see if you notice a difference:
Step 1 – Get moving
Regular physical activity can increase your energy and do wonders for your self-confidence. You don’t need to run a marathon – just aim for 15to 30 minutes of movement each day. You can break it into smaller chunks if that’s easier. A short walk, gentle stretching or dancing to your favourite song all count!
Step 2 – Eat well and stay hydrated
Fuel your body with a healthy, balanced diet and drink plenty of water. Good nutrition helps your body work at its best and keeps your energy levels more stable throughout the day.
Step 3 – Pace yourself
Break daily tasks into smaller, manageable steps. Spread them out over a few days or a week. You don’t have to do everything at once—bite-sized tasks are easier to handle and help prevent burnout.
