CoastCanCare is a unique service funded by Dry July, to provide access to wellbeing activities for people impacted by cancer, and their carers.
CoastCanCare offers programs designed to complement medical treatment and build wellness in mind and body where cancer and its treatment has taken effect. The activities selected for offering have been shown to help assist managing stress, anxiety, fatigue and pain, build strength and increase quality of life.
For 2025 we are offering two exciting programs.
For patients who are on active treatment we are offering group physiotherapy sessions to be run out of Woy Woy Hospital. If you are currently on treatment and feel that this would benefit you, please discuss with your Oncologist at your next appointment.
We are also offering free art classes for anyone who has experienced cancer, either themselves or a close family member. These classes will be run by the Central Coast Water Colour Society and will be starting in the middle of the year and will be run out of the Entrance Community Centre.
If you would like to express your interest in participating in one of these classes, please fill in the expression of interest form below.
