About nursing & midwifery careers

With over 3500 full time, part time and casual nurses and midwives, Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is the largest employer in the area. Our 3 hospitals and 8 community health centers offer supportive and enriching places for nurses and midwives to begin or continue their career and gain valuable experience.

We support career opportunities for all nursing and midwifery positions through a range of professional and specialty career pathways, including novice to expert pathways for Clinical nurse/midwife specialist, clinical nurse/midwife educator and nurse/midwife practitioners.
