Feedback about your care

We welcome feedback from patients, carers and our community. It helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can improve the care we provide.

There are several ways you can share your feedback.

If you or someone you care for is currently in hospital

If you have a question or concern about care, we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible.

  1. Speak to a staff member involved in your care
  2. Ask to speak with the Nurse Unit Manager or manager of the ward or service
  3. Use the ‘How was your experience’ patient survey QR code on the ward, there is an option to leave your contact details if you wish to discuss further
  4. If your concern is not resolved, contact our Consumer Feedback team

Contact our Consumer Feedback team

You can contact our Consumer Feedback team to share your feedback at any time – whether you would like to provide a compliment, suggestion or raise a concern about your experience.

If you would prefer to speak with an independent organisation, you can contact the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC):

Raise It

Raise It is a simple process available in NSW public hospitals and health services to support you to raise concerns if you or your loved one’s condition is getting worse.

You know yourself or your loved one best. If you’re worried you or your loved one’s condition is getting worse, follow the Raise It process. We are here for you.
