Our Services

Women’s Health

Women’s Health Clinics are held in community settings across the Central Coast. They are free, inclusive and confidential. A GP referral is not required.

An appointment is required, to make an appointment please call 02 4367 9600.

Women’s Health Clinics are staffed by female nurses providing the following services:

  • Cervical screening tests (pap smears)
  • Contraceptive advice
  • Postnatal checks
  • Menopause and menstruation information
  • Continence advice.

Women requiring contraceptive pill prescriptions or devices will be referred to their GP.

The Women’s Health clinics are open to all women in need of care and information. We encourage women in the following groups to attend our clinics:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse
  • Women with disabilities
  • Health Care Card holders
  • Women who are overdue or have never had a Cervical Screening Test (pap smear).

An interpreter service is available.

Clinics run between 9am and 3.30pm. To make an appointment or for further information about our Women’s Health clinics, call Erina Community Health Centre on 02 4367 9600.

A GP referral is not required.

A nurse will contact you with your results in around 2 weeks on the mobile number you provided. If you require ongoing care and routine follow up after your appointment with our service, you will be referred to your GP or an appropriate specialist doctor.
