Changes to Gosford Hospital Pre-admission Clinic
The Gosford Hospital Pre-admission Clinic is temporarily moving into the new hospital tower as part of the major redevelopment of Gosford Hospital. From Monday 29 January 2018 the Pre-admission Clinic will be located on level one of the new hospital tower (on Racecourse Road). This change will be for around three months.

All hospital grounds are smoke-free, patients and visitors must leave the grounds to smoke (Smoke-free Environment Act 2000)
Lung complications can occur in smokers following anaesthesia. To reduce the risk of complications we recommend that you stop smoking at least 24 hours before your surgery but preferably two weeks before.
During your stay speak to staff about commencing nicotine replacement therapy while you are in hospital.
